Private Jet Charter with Pets

Your dog or cat flies in the cabin with you, not in a cargo hold. We only offer aircraft whose operators accept your pet.

How Flying with Pets Works

Flying private is the easiest way to travel with a pet. There are no airline size limits, no carrier under the seat and no cargo hold. Most operators allow dogs and cats in the cabin, and many welcome large dogs.

Every operator sets its own pet policy, and some aircraft owners do not allow animals at all. Tell us about your pet when you ask for a quote, and we will only show you aircraft that accept them.

Size and Breed

Tell us your pet’s weight and breed. Large dogs are usually welcome on midsize and larger jets, where there is floor space for them to lie down.

Cleaning Fee

Some operators add a cleaning fee after flights with pets. We show it in your quote so there are no surprises.

On Board

Bring a leash, a bed or blanket, water and any medication. Some operators ask that pets stay on the floor or in a carrier during takeoff and landing.

International Trips

Most countries require health certificates and vaccination records, and some, including the UK and Hawaii, have strict entry rules that take weeks to arrange. Dogs entering the US must also meet CDC rules.

Flying with Pets Questions

Can my dog sit with me on a private jet?

Yes, in most cases. Dogs and cats fly in the cabin with you. Some operators ask pets to stay on the floor or in a carrier during takeoff and landing.

Is there a size limit for dogs on private jets?

There is no airline-style limit, but the aircraft must have room and the operator must accept the breed. Large dogs are usually best on midsize or larger jets.

Do private jets charge extra for pets?

Some operators add a cleaning fee. We include any pet fee in your quote.

What papers does my pet need to fly internationally?

Usually a health certificate and proof of rabies vaccination, and some destinations need a microchip, blood tests or import permits. Start weeks ahead; we will tell you what your destination requires.
