Why Fly Private for Golf Trips
The great golf destinations are often far from big airline airports. Bandon Dunes, Sand Valley, Streamsong and Pinehurst each take a connection and a long drive by airline, but a private jet can land a short ride from the resort.
A group of four to eight golfers with clubs fits comfortably in a light or midsize jet, and splitting the cost of the aircraft often brings the price per person close to premium airline fares on short trips. You can play 36 holes on arrival day and fly home after the last round.
Golf Bags Take Space
A full-size golf bag needs the baggage room of a light jet or larger. Tell us how many bags and whether they are in travel cases, and we will only offer aircraft they fit.

How many golf bags fit on a private jet?
A light jet usually carries four golf bags plus soft luggage, and a midsize jet six to eight. Travel cases take more room than soft covers, so tell us which you have.
Which golf resorts have their own airport nearby?
Pinehurst, Kohler, Sand Valley, Bandon Dunes, Streamsong, Kiawah and Sea Island all have a private-jet airport within about 45 minutes. Horseshoe Bay has a resort airpark on site.
Is a private jet golf trip worth it for a foursome?
Often, yes, on shorter trips. The aircraft price is shared by the group, you skip connections to remote resorts, and you can play more golf in fewer days.
